Here is a basic outline of the 10 series. Although each session usually follows this template my work is personal. Meaning each session is built around your personal goals and each session builds upon the previous work. Back and neck tension are addressed every session.
1st hour goal is to revitalize the superficial fascia. This session is primarily a upper body session and the focus is on freeing your ribcage and diaphragm. This session leaves you with a sense of lift and length.
2nd hour is primarily a back session focusing on feet, legs and back. You will leave more grounded with a relaxed and longer back.
3rd hour goal is to accomplished by working with your sides creating space and balance to your hips, shoulders and upper back.Afterwards you will feel an opening to your sides and a release of shoulder and upper back tension.
4th, 5th and 6th hour sessions are designed to create a stable and horizontal pelvis, first through releasing your adductors, then balancing your iliopsoas and sacrum. You will leave with a relaxed and balanced lower back
Although neck work is provided after each session, this entire hour is devoted to releasing and balancing your head and neck. The success of this session is a result of the stable base we’ve created from the previous sessions. Dr Rolfs study of cranial osteopathy makes this an effective session for releasing headaches and TMJ dysfunction
The 8th, 9th and 10th hours are even more tailored to your individual needs and the shift towards integration. Now that we have released long held tension and the compensation from gravity we can concentrate on integrating your upper and lower body and creating greater movement in specific joints.
